BEC SCOPE:
Lynas Kalgoorlie has awarded BEC Engineering the electrical engineering works for both the low and high voltage distribution design of the new Cracking and Leaching Plant to be constructed in Kalgoorlie. BEC has also been awarded the detailed engineering design and implementation for the Process Control System.
The Rare Earths Processing Facility will process rare earth concentrate from the Mt Weld mine to produce a rare earth carbonate for export.
OUTCOME:
The project is ongoing and due to for completion in 2022.
